克里丝汀·艾珠 Christine Ay Tjoe 1973年生于印度尼西亚万隆。她的创作生涯始于运用凹版印刷技术完成平面创作，之后扩展至绘画、素描、动画、雕塑以及大型装置。
自童年起，艾珠便注定成为一名艺术家。她家中一共四个兄弟姐妹，父母是工人阶层，在万隆长大的她一直偏爱独处，小时喜欢与自制的娃娃玩耍，预示她在艺术界的卓越未来。艾珠不断追求创意表达，在万隆理工学院打下扎实的基本功，并毕业于平面设计和版画系。这些专业技巧都体现在她的作品中；质感丰富的色域画法和引人入胜的线条都成为她的标志性风格，更成就其作品独一无二的原创性。艾珠的作品引发观者的思考，情感充沛，得到艺评界广泛赞赏，并在国内外都被视为印度尼西亚当代艺术界的领军人物。
